Summary:

AutoZone.com is looking for a Sr. Product Owner responsible for managing the end-user experience across AutoZone’s digital channels. The Sr. Digital Product Owner will be a detail-oriented, analytics-minded, enthusiastic, and motivated problem solver with a solid understanding of consumer-facing digital products and be comfortable converting strategic concepts into tangible requirements. The Sr. Product Owner will own the day to day aspects for the product, managing and maintaining features, functionality, enhancements, and customer experience while striving to improve overall business and product related KPIs.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive strategic initiatives to help customers find what they need quickly
  • Partner with key stakeholders from different functional areas to understand business needs and how it impacts the ongoing development and operations of product discovery
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (UI/UX, Development, Analytics, QA, Operations, Merchandising, Marketing, Catalog) to ensure delivery of quality enhancements, bug fixes and feature sets that meet and exceed customer needs
  • Partner closely with other Digital Product Owners and Digital Product Management Team
  • Own the product backlog, write, prioritize, and manage high quality user stories for the product
  • Use data to prioritize program scope and backlog
  • Manage and approve business analysis/use cases
  • Lead customer research activities like customer interviews, surveys and focus groups to understand consumer behavior and plan/adjust product road map
  • Establish go to market plans for new product/ program launches
  • Analyze usability, market research, competition, KPIs, trends and technology for opportunities to be a champion for the customer and drive incremental sales growth
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to drive goals and objectives
  • Stay up to date with the latest technologies and trends in digital commerce and eCommerce trends
  • Manage relationships with vendors and third parties

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Marketing, MIS, Business, or related fields
  • Five to seven years of experience in eCommerce retail environment
  • Ability to be a team player with a positive and can-do attitude
  • Strong time and priority management - ability to identify and focus on critical issues
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Strong negotiating skills and the ability to build consensus across functional boundaries
  • Hands-on experience managing all stages of the product life cycle for software products in an Agile setting
  • Expertise in eCommerce platforms, marketing applications/tools and A/B testing tools
  • Strong understanding of the business and stakeholder needs
  • Strong business analysis skills
  • Proven experience in translating strategy into tactical execution  #LI-BP
